PURPOSE OF THE COURSE
This Course requires students who use email in a business environment.
The qualifying student can
Explaining etiquette and compliance issues relating to electronic communications.
Organising and setting limits for a mailbox.
You are using an electronic communication system to send and receive mail.
You are managing the messages in an email facility on a workstation.
Hold a GETC or equivalent qualification; or
Be competent in Communication and Maths knowledge at NQF
The typical scope of the aim of this course:
Moral issues include confidentiality, impact on the brand, sending personal emails, chain letters and spam.
Legal issues relating to the mail
Email abilities include file sizes, language and other content and file types.
Options and tools include auto sign, rules, toolbars, time zones, open attachments, proxy, archives, permissions, send and delete options, set priority, spell check and emptying the deleted folder when exiting.
