These course aims to provide credits towards the maths knowledge requirement of the NQF. An understanding of maths that give insight into the student`s work experience. The ability to voice a critical opinion of the role of maths in society and so become a citizen

 Ask questions, collect and organise information.

Represent and interpret information using various techniques to study real-life and work problems.

Use random events to explore and apply probability concepts in a simple life and work situations.

ENROLMENT REQUIREMENTS

The credit value assumes that student starting to learn towards this course are competent in Maths and Communications at NQF. PURPOSE OF THE COURSE
These course aims to provide credits towards the maths knowledge requirements of the NQF. The essential purposes of the fundamental knowledge requirements are that, as the student progresses with confidence through the levels, the student grows in Insightful use of math — an understanding of maths applications that provide insight into the student future work experience.

A student registered with this course can convert numbers between the decimal number system and double number system

Work with numbers in various ways to express size or magnitude.

Show the effect of error in calculations.
