Our Youth Admission Criteria

Southern Africa Youth Project has a simple youth programmes admission criteria. We work with over 50 000 youth from any country. So anyone who meets our criteria is welcome to participate at the Southern Africa Youth Project as long as they have documents required and meets our admission criteria below, these include any refugee, race, religion, culture or affiliation to any politics from other African countries.

Southern Africa Youth Project offers its programs though both online e-learning and on-site branch face to face services.

We admission is simple. We welcome anyone from any country as long as you meet the criteria mentioned below.

For Branch Admission, bring the following with you:

  • Your own Original Identity/ Passport/ Study or Work Permit. No copies accepted. (Compulsory)
  • Your Curriculum Vitae – bring it on USB or you will upon Email on arrival. (Compulsory)
  • Original Grade 12 / Final Class Report/ Matric Certificate. (Compulsory)
  • Original Diploma/ Degree/ Certificates that you have (optional).
  • Original Drivers Licence or any Trade Licences you have. (Optional)

Please note that due to our compliance and strict admission criteria we do not accept copies at the branch. We only accept original documents. We will scan then return give them back to you.

For Online E-learning Admission, have the following with you

  • Scanned Identity/ Passport/ Study or Work Permit (Compulsory)
  • Curriculum Vitae in Microsoft Word/ PDF(Compulsory)
  • Scanned Diploma/Degree/Certificates (Optional)
  • Scanned Drivers Licence or any Trade Licences if you have (Optional)
  • Scanned Final High School Report/ Grade 12 Matric Certificate (Compulsory)

Click on Register on the Top Left you will then go to the registration page. Pay a fee off you go. The system and the programs will ask you for any information that may require from you.

Are you also online and on e-learning?

Should you relocate or move to another area. Do not worry all programs are available on e-learning. You can continue to attend programs from the comfort of where you will be. We understand you have to attend funerals, weddings, move due to any reason, or you may be in an area far from our branches. All you have to do is sign-in on your mobile phone with Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge, Opera Mini and any browser to access our programs. Our support team are available on Whatsapp to provide support and guidance to you until you progress.

What happens when I drop out?

We have a stringent policy as specified on the admission criteria with clients not completing programs. You will have a period of the year to complete our plans. After that, you may get disqualified from accessing any of our programs. If you are paying for yourself you have lifetime access to our content. We advise you to complete the programs since they are based online. Should you need trauma and depression support, we have a dedicated team who are available to assist you for any issues that you may have.

I have moved away and I need my certificates?

All you have to do is call our management staff on the numbers provided above. We will require you to provide answers as part of the security and protection of personal information. Once we verify it is you we will proceed to provide you with all the information you may require from us. We do not automatically print certificates. After you have contacted us we will proceed with the printing. We wait for you to claim it before we can print

How long does the certificate take?

We are very fast in processing certificates. Once you have provided us with the outstanding information which our consultants will let you know. We print within six weeks. You will then receive an SMS notification that your certificate has been delivered. We will also inform you of the location where we have delivered it.

Should you be in another province. We do have a courier service which will deliver to your door. Any address you provide us. Must be exactly where you are. Our courier is traceable online. Meaning you can see your parcel as it passed all their counters on it’s way to you. Otherwise you can come and collect at our headquarters in Johannesburg.

Who can register at Southern Africa Youth Project?

Anyone between the age of 18 and 35 residing in  Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa, and Swaziland. East African countries (19) – Burundi, Comoros, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Réunion, Rwanda, Seychelles, Somalia, Somaliland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe

What age qualifies?

At Southern Africa Youth Project we register youth who are between 18 and 35 interested in learning and getting empowered.

What documents are required?

We require the following documentations:

  • National Identity Book/Birth Certificate/Passport/Permit.
  • High School Report or National Certificate or Matric.
  • Drivers Licence (Optional)
  • Further Education Certificates or Diplomas or Degrees (Optional)
  • Proof of Residency or Utility Bill.
  • Curriculum Vitae with contactable references.

How long do programs take?

Our Programs differs from one day to 3 years depending on each schedule. So when you register you must commit for the whole duration.

Does Southern Africa youth Projectsegregate people?

Southern Africa Youth Project does not segregate against any religion, culture or beliefs. The organisation accepts anyone from any country, culture, religion, politics and beliefs.

What is not allowed at Southern Africa Youth Project?

Southern Africa Youth Project does not allow beneficiaries who promotes religion, politics, racism, cultural beliefs, and systems.

Is our Programs online and on site

Yes our programs are available online and through our community sites in cities, rural areas and townships of Africa.

Should you wish to do them online there is a fee. But in communities, they are paid for by the donors who contribute towards them.
